Starting Your Own 501(c)(3) Church or Ministry
What is a 501(c)(3)?
501(c)(3) is part of the tax code of the Internal Revenue Service used to register churches and ministries with the Federal Government.
Why do I need a 501c3?
A 501(c)(3) is part of making your church or ministry organized and professional. You will receive tax-exempt status and be able to provide your contributors with a receipt for deduction on their income tax.
Can I do this on my own?
Yes, however, the process is complicated and requires most people to seek the help of a certified public accountant or attorney. Their fees along with the State and Federal government fees are typically quite expensive.
Why Should I apply with your ministry?

- Complete and signed EACM Ministry Credentials Application (CLICK HERE TO VIEW)
- If you are not already credentialed with us you may use the same application for both credentials and 501c3. Be sure to complete all of the appropriate sections.
Once we have received your application we will call you and help you prepare for the process.
